The ASP model (Application Service Provider) or FAH (Provider of hosted applications), develops, manages and delivers application solutions to various entities, from a central server through an extensive telecommunications network (WAN).
The ASP model can be defined as a distribution model for application services, shared, accessible online and billed monthly, such as subscriptions. The application software is installed on the computer system vendor and is accessible by the user through an Internet browser or through a client software provided by the seller.
There are a number of advantages in this approach including:
    * The problems of integrating the application on the architecture of the customer are eliminated;     * The cost of applications is broken on many clients;     * The seller acquires greater experience on the part of its many customers and can therefore benefit applications. |
